I've been saying for years I'm going to print out my blogs for the day the Internet crashes and all is lost. Printing them out on a computer is such a hassle, and expensive with the cost of color ink so I started looking for other alternatives. My blog is pretty much the only form of journaling and scrapbooking I have the time and energy for right now, and I work really hard to keep it updated so the days and hours of my kids' childhoods aren't lost to my memory which will fail me one day.
I found a company online called blog2print and it's so easy to convert them to books. It only takes about ten minutes from start to finish to go through the ordering process, and then a week or so to have it shipped to you in a bound book. They aren't cheap, so I'm doing them one year at a time when I can find coupon codes. I've printed out the first two years since I started blogging and am using birthday money to print out the next two years. I hope by Mother's Day, I'll have them all the way through 2012.
If there is a fire in my house, after collecting my children, I will grab these books on the way out. I have loved watching the kids pour over them remembering little moments we had forgotten about. I'm terrified after reviewing stories and pictures from years back how quickly time is passing. Here's to savoring the good moments and tolerately gracefully the not so great moments!

I'm glad you posted this. I need to print my blog too.
Yay!!! So happy for you. My seventh blog book just arrived last week. It's our book for 2012. I CAN NOT believe I've been doing this for seven years, but I'm so incredibly grateful to have it all written and photographed and in a book. You know how my memory is.
Where do you find coupon codes for this particular website? I've never heard of them. I used blurb for the one and only book I've printed but it took forever to convert into a book.
